What makes WISH different.

Our therapists have more than just a soothing touch – though of course you’ll find that, too.

The WISH team is highly educated and experienced.

Each therapist undergoes extensive, on-going specialized training for preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum work with our founder, Sally Hayes, who is renowned in the field of pregnancy bodywork.

WISH is a team of massage therapists who serves expecting parents by providing specialized bodywork in order to curate better pregnancy experiences.

Pregnancy Massage Services

Conception, labor, newborn, and postpartum recovery outcomes have been proven to benefit from massage therapy.

Pregnancy and postpartum care is lacking in the US, specifically in the area of adjunct therapies like massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care.

Massage therapy has benefits in every stage of the journey, from stimulating specific hormones to encouraging lymphatic drainage to decreasing swelling.

While a relaxing massage alone is beneficial for both the body and the mind, therapists trained in specific massage techniques – like ours – can provide value to your body beyond a few feel-good hours.

“I'm so thankful I found WISH for massage. I've been apprehensive for the last few years after trying to find someone I love in LA, but [she] immediately put me at ease…The office was super calm, cozy and professional…I came in with some bad neck pain and serious muscle soreness and walked out feeling incredible. It’s right around the corner from me which is amazing, but even if I had to travel it would be worth the trip.”

Our Founder

Sally Hayes created WISH when she saw a serious lack of preconception, pregnancy and postpartum bodywork in Southern California. This type of massage therapy is incredibly beneficial and should be standard curriculum in all massage schools. Sally started her own curriculum to train massage therapists to become confident and knowledgable about working with these clients.
